Does Spritz-Spritz have a
vinegar smell that will stay on my armpit after application?
The short answer is, yes, but not for long.

Our preferred mode of application is after a shower in the evening, but that's only effective if you don't plan to shower in the morning.

If you apply after showering in the morning, give it a minute or two to dry off. This is not critical, but it can reduce and acidic smell that is captured by your clothing's armpit fabric.

You may find it pleasant to dab a touch of perfume or essential oil on your armpit after application.

Why does it sting on application?
It shouldn't, but if it does, this is most likely because you just shaved your armpits. Then it will really sting.

If it stings consistently, even without shaving, or leaves a rash, you should discontinue use of the product. See 6, below.

Will it stain my clothes or my skin?
It will not stain clothes or skin.
In some cases it reduces bumps that occur from pore clogging or in-grown hairs (primarily from shaving).

Why do the armpits on my shirts still smell like BO even though I am using Spritz-Spritz?
While your shirt may smell at the end of the day, or even during the day, your pits most likely won't.
The amount of BO that sticks on your shirt will correlate closely with the fabric type worn: synthetic fabrics catch and hold BO extremely well; natural fibers less so; merino wool has almost no scent retention.
To ameliorate this effect, add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of 5% white vinegar in your washer's fabric softener dispenser/tray. We were amazed (!) at the effect this had on eliminating body odor retention in all clothing material types, but especially synthetics.

Someone told me this can work for fungal infections. Is that true?
It is hard to say for sure as if probably varies from person-to-person, but there are reports that it is useful for managing athlete's foot, as well as dry skin on the eyebrows and around the nose and earlobes. This would be an off-label use and does not fall under the product indication, so we hesitate to recommend it for such uses, but as more data accrues we may update the product information.
